Helen Barron

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of lifelong Bensalem resident, Helen Barron, a beloved mother, cherished friend, and devoted member of the community, who departed from this world on January 8, 2025. Helen was born on January 31, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Edward and Alexandra Sosinski, and lived a life filled with resilience, love, pride in her Polish heritage, and an unwavering work ethic.

A dedicated cashier in the retail industry, Helen was known for her kindness and commitment to her work, always greeting customers with a warm smile. She also spent many years as a child, working on the local farms, picking spinach and carrots. Her passion for cooking was evident in her delightful pies and muffins, which brought joy to her family and friends. Helen found happiness in creating delicious treats, and her kitchen was often filled with the sweet aromas of her favorite baked goods. She also loved to travel to her favorite destination, Atlantic City, NJ, often by train, to play her favorite slots.

Helen is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Barron, and her sons, Richard and James Barron. They will forever hold dear the memories of their mother’s nurturing spirit and her unwavering support.

A graveside service will be held in her honor at Resurrection Cemetery on January 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Before this service, family and loved ones are invited to attend a viewing at Tomlinson Funeral Home, beginning at 10:15 AM.

Though Helen has left this earthly realm, her spirit will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love and hard work will endure.
