Helen DiGirolamo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen (Andreassi) DiGirolamo, who passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday July 10, 2026, at the age of 98. A beloved resident of Bensalem, PA, Helen was born in Philadelphia on May 27, 1928, to the late Ester (Gaspari) and John Andreassi.

Helen was a cherished member of St. Ephrem Church for an incredible 55 years, where she cultivated deep connections with her faith and community. A vibrant spirit, she enjoyed bowling in her youth and was renowned for her exceptional cooking, especially during the holidays when family would gather at her table to share joy and love. She took great pride in her appearance and was admired for her timeless elegance.

Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Eugene DiGirolamo and their kindhearted daughter, Janice M. Gallagher. She leaves behind her two devoted children, son Gene DiGirolamo (Donna) and daughter Joanne DiGirolamo, along with her son-in-law, Michael W. Gallagher, all of whom carry her legacy of kindness and warmth. Helen will be deeply missed by her seven grandchildren—Freddie, Reno, Gene (Mary Kay), Anthony (Tara), Gina, Mary (Sean), and Michael (Beth)—and her 11 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She is now reunited with her treasured friend Terry Gallagher, but will be sadly missed by Noreen Cassidy who spent countless hours by her side.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday July 17, 2026, from 10 AM to 12 PM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM.
