Helen E. Heisey, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully, on February 2, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on July 11, 1934, in Easton, PA, to the late Wilber B. and Martha (nee Breiner) Herwig, Helen lived a life rich in love, service, and dedication to her family and those around her.
Helen will be remembered fondly as a devoted homemaker who effortlessly created a warm and nurturing environment for her family. Her legacy includes her loving son Jacob L. Heisey Jr., daughters Helen Wiktorchik (Jonathan) and Regina Furtaw (Virgil), her grandchildren, Loretta (Jeremy), David, Martha (Larry), Brian (Amanda), Michael, and Adam, her great grandchildren, Larry “LJ” James, and Levi, and her nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob L. Heisey, Sr., and her brothers Ernest Paul Herwig, and Wilber F. Herwig Helen’s family was her pride and joy, and she nurtured them with the same care she put into her passions—cooking, baking, and gardening.
Throughout her life, Helen was always there for those in need. She volunteered her time at Lower Bucks Hospital, demonstrating her compassionate spirit and commitment to the well-being of others. As a faithful member of Newportville Community Church and The Gideons International, she found strength and purpose in service to her church and the community.
Helen's generosity, beautiful smile, and warm heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her love for family gatherings, where the aroma of her delicious cooking filled the air, will forever be cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Helen’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Friday, February 13th from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by her service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery.
In this time of sorrow, we honor Helen’s memory and the indelible mark she made on each of our lives. Her spirit will continue to shine through her family and the many lives she touched.
