Helen Quinlan

Helen Dorothy Quinlan (nee Ridgeway) peacefully passed away on March 31, 2023 at the age of 73. Her last days were filled with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her five children, John (Nicole), Michael, Maria Kagin, Colleen (Steve Murphy), Joseph (Jaime) and deeply missed by her 15 grandchildren (Jacqueline, Alexandria, Meghan, Christopher, Madison, Hailey, Rebecca, Samantha, Alyssa, Jake, Dylan, Aubrey, Jaxon, Austin, Tyler). Helen is preceded in death by her husband John E. Quinlan Jr. ‘Jack’ , her parents Edwin and Ruth Ridgeway, and her sister Catherine Concowich.

Helen was born in Philadelphia, the cherished daughter of Edwin and Ruth Ridgeway. Helen and Jack raised their family in the Salem Point section of Bensalem where they made many lifelong friends. Helen was a devoted mother and adoring grandmother and loved nothing more than attending her grandchildren’s events, having baking days, lunch with her girlfriends, and big family dinners. She was always willing to play along with the latest silly game or social trend the grandkids came up with. Her family is grateful for having shared many wonderful moments and laughter over the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation that will take place on Friday April 14th from 9:30-10:30am at St. Ephrem Roman Catholic Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 with the mass to follow at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

From meals on wheels, helping friends in need or supporting the many charities over the years mom would want that life lesson to continue on.
