Henry Czop, aged 91, of Andalusia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born on June 1, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late John and Mary Czop, Henry lived a life rich with experiences, meaningful connections, and a deep appreciation for nature.
He was a husband of 60 years to Dolores Czop and a cherished father to his children, Barry Brown and Darlene Plunkett (Dean Yannessa). Henry was a proud grandfather to Dawn Marie, Robert (Kari), Sarah, Rebecca (Avery), Tia, Nicki, and Chuba, and a loving great-grandfather to Wesleigh and Graham. He was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews. Henry also shared a special bond with his niece, Cecelia Trotter, whom he lovingly raised and cared for as one of his own. He instilled in his family the values of hard work, resilience, and humor. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven H. Czop, and his siblings, Frank Czop, Veronica (Czop) Macko, and Agnes (Czop) Borges.
Henry dedicated many years of his life working as a machine oiler at the Grain Elevator in Philadelphia. He also worked on the grounds crew at the Bensalem Country Club Golf Course.
Fondly known as “Uncle Henry,” “Zup”, and self-proclaimed “The King,” Henry found immense joy in hunting, fishing, and raising pigeons. He often spent weekends exploring flea markets, where he discovered “treasures” he proudly shared with family and friends. He will long be remembered for his jokes, the old stories he loved to share, and the Polish songs he would sing while enjoying a drink at family functions.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Henry’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Wednesday, May 13th from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by his service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Henry’s name to The Spayed Club Veterinarian Clinic at www.thespayedclubclinic.org/, or Forgotten Cats at www.forgottencats.org.
Henry will be deeply missed but fondly remembered in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
