James F. Boettcher

James Francis Boettcher, Sr of Bensalem passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2025. He was 86 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Cecilia (Smolinski) and John Boettcher and was a resident of Bensalem for over 40 years.

James was a dedicated truck driver for Red Star Trucking for over 30 years and was a member of Teamsters Local#107. His passion for working was matched only by his love for collecting and exploring flea markets, where he often found unique antiques to tinker with. A proud United States Airforce veteran, James served his country with honor and integrity.

James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gail (Klauder) Boettcher. He will be deeply missed by his children: James Francis Boettcher, Jr (Sara) and Bonnie Takakjy (Rob, Jr). James is also survived by his grandchildren: Brandy, James, III, Sadie, Robert, III, Thomas and Michael and many other loving family members and friends. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, John, Thomas, and Ronald Boettcher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM at the Cornwell United Methodist Church, 2284 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 11 AM. Interment will be private. www.tomlinsonfh.com
