James Devenney

November 26, 1963 — July 17, 2019

James "Jim" F. Devenney passed away Wednesday July 17, 2019. He was 55. Born in Philadelphia and a resident of Feasterville, Pa. James was a graduate of Council Rock High School. He served as the Food Service Director at Brandywine Senior Living. Jim also served as a volunteer Fire Fighter. He loved to dirt bike with his son, fishing, and cooking. He was described as a family man who just absolutely loved life, and above all other things spending time with his family was his favorite thing to do. Jim is survived by his devoted wife Bernadette (nee Rutecki) Devenney , his beloved children David Matthew Devenney and Carly Rose Devenney (Alex), His mother Elayne Devenney, His sisters’ Christine Horn (John), Michele Beck (Joe), and Kathleen Price. Jim is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service Thursday July 25, 2019 from 9:30am-11:00am at the Tomlinson Funeral Home 2207 Bristol Pike Bensalem Pa 19020. Followed by a service at 11am. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers Donations may be made in Jim's name to Abramson Cancer Center, University of Pennsylvania, 3535 Market Street Suite 750 Philadelphia, Pa 19104
