It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James J. Leible, who left us on Thursday March 12, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on September 21, 1964, in Bayside, NY to the late Dolores Jane (McCormick) and Theodore Robert Leible and was a resident of Bensalem for the past 26 years. Jim was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, whose warmth and humor touched everyone he met.
Jim graduated from Syracuse University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, where he was captain of the Football team. Jim went on to enjoy a remarkable career as the Chief Executive Officer of Clinical Engineering Services, Inc. for over 25 years.
Jim had a deep passion for music, particularly jazz, which he enjoyed playing on his guitar. He was a cooking enthusiast and loved to share meals with his family. A proud member of the Syracuse Letterman Club and the Annual Ocean City Golf Crew, he enjoyed sharing laughter and camaraderie with his friends. His enthusiasm for college football and basketball was infectious, making every game day a special occasion.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jim was a true family man. He cherished his time with his spouse, Deirdre (Honan) Leible, and their children: James A. Leible, Paul J. Leible, Jane E. Leible, and Thomas J. Leible. Whether it was cheering on from the sidelines at their games or sharing laughter around the dinner table, Jim's love for his family shone brightly. He was also the life of the party, known for his playful pranks and quick wit that could light up any room.
Jim is also survived by his siblings, Paul A. Leible (Brenda), Elaine Cook, John M. Leible (Nancy), and Claire Riccardi, His cherished mother-in-law, Philomena Honan (the late Patrick) and many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jim was also preceded in death by his brother, Theodore James Leible.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Wednesday March 18, 2026 from 10 to 12 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 12 PM. Interment will be private. www.tomlinsonfh.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society (Please see donation link at the bottom of the page)
