James M. Mccloskey

James M. McCloskey of Philadelphia passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Holy Redeemer Hospital. He was 67 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late James and Ruth Ann (Rawls) McCloskey and was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. Jim owned and operated McCloskey Builders for over 30 years. He enjoyed reading, playing chess, trips to Atlantic City and was a devoted member of Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. Jim will be deeply missed by his loving children, James McCloskey, Jr, Sarah McCloskey, Matthew McCloskey, and Faith McCloskey. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Danny, Bryan, Aiden, Liam, Titan, and Eden; His Siblings: Mark McCloskey (Maria), Rita McCloskey and Tom Rawls (Melissa); His best friend, David Thompson (Tara); and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 1 to 2 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 2 PM.
