James R. Moyer

James R. Moyer of Croydon passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at his residence. He was 70 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Edith Jane (Henninger) and James I Moyer and was a resident of Croydon for the past 15 years and was formerly of Philadelphia. James worked for Kmart for over 25 years. He enjoyed playing chess and caring for his pond. James loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 14 years, Jean H. (Teti) and was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Carol Moyer. James will also be sadly missed by his children: Chrisie Moyer (Ben Sanchez), George Moyer, Sr., Shawn Moyer (Colleen); His step daughter: Jeannet Franks (Les); His 6 grandchildren: Ben, Jaime Ann, George Jr., Lucas, Kaylyn, and Kendal; 2 step grandchildren: Charles (Jaimee) and Nicholas (Fiancé Bridgette): 2 step great grandchildren: Greyson and Peyton; and his siblings: Jane Hunsberger (Raymond), Linda Iullucci (Joseph), Bobby Moyer (Jeannie), Rich Moyer (Peggy), Denise Colon and David Moyer (Heather); and many other loving family members and friends. James was preceded in death by his stepmother, Peg Moyer; His grandson, Marc Santiago, and his siblings: Delanie Blumer, Billy Moyer, and Patty Green.
