James L. Ritter, Sr., of Bristol passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024. He was 68 years old. Born in Bristol, PA to the late Doris (Brown) and Lawrence H Ritter and was a lifelong resident of West Bristol.
Jim worked for Stanley Stephens, Co Inc as a truck driver for over 30 years. Beyond his career, Jim was passionate about wildlife photography and had a talent for capturing the beauty of nature through his lens. He also shared his love for music, often playing Classic Rock at local establishments and various events like Doo-wop, Christmas Shows, and weddings. A sports enthusiast, Jim enjoyed playing slow pitch softball (E4) and cherished time spent with his family, always bringing a smile to the faces of those around him.
Jim will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 43 years, Bonnie (Schuyler). He will also be deeply missed by his children, Ella Mahler (Ryan) and Jim Ritter, Jr (Linda). Jim was the loving pop-pop of 6 grandchildren: James, Abigail, Skyler, Melanie, Tara and Nolan and will also be missed by his brother, Lonnie Ritter and many loving extended family members and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his children, Tara and Melanie Ritter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Sunday November 17, 2024, from 1 to 3 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 3 PM.
