James John Weikel

James John Weikel, affectionately known as Jimmy, left this world on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on August 16, 1962, in the heart of Fort Benning, GA, Jimmy lived a life filled with laughter, love, and connection.

Jimmy was known for his love of conversation, relishing every opportunity to engage with those around him. His warm spirit and welcoming demeanor made him a beloved figure to friends and family alike. He had a knack for making every chat feel meaningful, leaving those who conversed with him feeling a little brighter.

Jimmy spent countless hours enjoying Facebook computer games, often sharing his latest achievements with enthusiasm. He also had a profound love for animals, especially his cherished cat, Muffy, who brought him endless joy and companionship throughout his life.

Jimmy is survived by his devoted family, including his sister Cheryl Hauck (Michael), brother John Weikel (Sheri), father James Robert Weikel (Liz Torgerson) and step-brother Greg Lippincott (Angela). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: John James Weikel, Kelly Rose Weikel, Taylor Hauck and Skylar Hauck and his step-nephew, Zackary Lippincott and step-niece, Meadow Lippincott. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma (Stockwell) Weikel.

Services and interment will be private.
