It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Mary McGregor, beloved wife, mother, sister, and cherished friend, who departed from this world on January 22, 2025, at the age of 66. Jane was born on February 1, 1958, to the late Richard and Joan Fleming.


Jane was a dedicated Chemistry teacher who inspired countless students with her passion for learning and discovery. She held a Master’s Degree and devoted her life to education, nurturing young minds and instilling in them the importance of curiosity. Her joy for teaching extended beyond the classroom, as she often shared her knowledge and love for science with her family and friends.


Jane was a vibrant soul who found delight in many pursuits. She was a huge fan of the Eagles and the Phillies, spending countless weekends cheering for her teams with enthusiasm. An avid enthusiast of fast cars, she was known for her lead foot and the exhilaration she found on the open road. Jane also adored her beloved dogs, often spending time with them in her back yard as they ran and played.


She leaves behind her devoted husband, Thomas McGregor; her two adoring children, Thomas R. McGregor and Katie McGregor (Keith A. Roberts); her loving sisters, Karen, Amy, and Joan Fleming; her brother, Christopher Fleming (Kim). Jane will be deeply missed by her family, who cherished her spirit, humor, and sage advice, as well as many friends whose lives she touched throughout her journey. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher John McGregor, and her siblings, Richard Fleming, Paula Fleming, and Clare Fleming.


Commemoration of Jane's life will take place at a later date and will be private.
