Janice Lynn Mcmullin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Janice Lynn McMullin, who peacefully left us surrounded by her family on February 19, 2025, at the age of 70. Janice was born on October 27, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Matthew and Jane (nee Reinhardt) McClernon.

Janice was born and raised in Northeast Philly attending St. Timothy and Our Lady of Calvary grade schools. She was a 1972 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School. She met her husband Chuck in the spring of 1970. They married on September 22, 1973 and settled in Bensalem where they raised their three children.

Janice cherished her family deeply and is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Chuck McMullin; her devoted children, Coleen McMullin (Tony), Ryan McMullin (Megan), and Chris McMullin (Kelly). She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, and Maeve; her siblings Kathleen Mulvenna (Brian), Jim McClernon (Karen), and many nieces and nephews.

Janice was employed by Holy Ghost Prep and Bensalem School District as a Van Driver for 35 years where she touched the lives of countless students with her warm smile and caring nature. She also volunteered for over 25 years at St Charles Borromeo School where she worked in support of the lunch program.

Janice was known for her unwavering kindness and generosity. She unconditionally opened her door to cats, dogs, birds, babies, teenagers, and adults. She always loved them as if they were her own. The cherished memories of her laughter, kindness, and unwavering strength will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Janice’s visitation on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Church 1731 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020 beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020.
