With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jean M. (Pallante) Amodei, who left this world peacefully on Friday October 17, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on May 21, 1936, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Elise (Pallante) and Alfred Pallante and was a resident of Langhorne for the past 49 years.
For 42 dedicated years, Jean worked as a payroll processor for Conrail, where her attention to detail and commitment to her work were admired by colleagues and friends alike. Outside of her professional life, Jean found joy in dancing, painting, and playing shuffleboard—a testament to her vibrant personality and zest for life.
A proud member of the Auxiliary to Joseph A. Schumacher VFW Post 1597 and American Legion Post 281 (Stetser Lamartine American Legion), Jean devoted her time to supporting her community and honoring those who served.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Dominic A. Amodei, Jr. She leaves behind a loving family that includes her children: Donna Marie Barrett (James), Dominic Anthony Amodei, III (Susan), Michael Elliot Amodei (Angel) and Jean Marie Mock (Steve). Jean will be deeply missed by her six grandchildren—Nikole, Gina, Rocco, David, Tony, and Erika—as well as her 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Jean is also survived by her brother Alfred Pallante (Georgie) and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Bean.
