Jeanette Carmella Gerstley

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanette Carmella Gerstley of Bensalem, PA, who peacefully departed this world on May 6, 2024, at the age of 94. Jeanette was born on March 30, 1930, in Burlington, NJ, and was a tremendous wife to her late husband, Robert, of 54 years, devoted daughter, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great grandmother, caring sister, and loyal friend.

Having grown up in Burlington, NJ, Jeanette later settled in Croydon, PA, where she became an active member of the community. She worked tirelessly as a retail clerk at Pathmark, leaving a lasting impact on all those she encountered. With her warm smile and kind heart, she touched the lives of many during her time in the retail industry.

In her later years, Jeanette found solace and friendship at the Bensalem Senior Center, where she enjoyed engaging in various activities and forming lasting connections with her peers.

Jeanette is survived by her beloved son, David Gerstley (Susan), and cherished grandchildren: Michael Gerstley (Michelle), Steven Gerstley (Katie), Jennifer DeLeone (Damian), Marc Gerstley, and Justin Gerstley, as well as her great grandchildren, Mason, Maverick, Nathan, Sophie, Mia, and Nicolas, She is also survived by her brother, Louis Angelo, and sister, Marie Brining, many nieces and nephews, and her daughter in law, Alberta Gerstley. Jeanette was preceded in death by her son, Robert.

In memory of Jeanette's life, a public viewing will be held at Tomlinson Funeral Home on May 13, 2024, starting at 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. All who wish to pay their respects are welcome to join in honoring Jeanette's life and legacy.

Jeanette will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace, knowing she was loved and cherished by many.
