Jennie Elizabeth Salvitti

Jennie Elizabeth Salvitti (nee Trojan) passed away at age 85, in her home in Warrington on December 17th, surrounded by her loving family. She was a graduate of Mastbaum high school where she was a drum majorette and developed her love for the culinary arts and her exceptional sewing talent. She was a homemaker devoted to her family but also found time to help others, spending a good part of her life volunteering in many capacities. She was a longtime member of the Women’s Lodge of the Sons of Italy, a Brownie and Girl Scout leader, and she helped and comforted many patients for years in her former role as President of the Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the Kidney Foundation. She was known for being an incredible hostess and there are many family and friends who share in the happy memories of the incredible pool parties, Halloween and Christmas Eve get-togethers she hosted. Jennie will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 65 years, Augustine Salvitti, her children: Linda Fusco (Anthony) and Diane Sawyer (Robert), as well as her grandchildren: Carissa Fales (Ryan), Katina Cooney (Brendan), Nicholas Fox, Matthew Sawyer, Christina Fusco, and Valerie Fusco, and her great grandchildren: Cooper and Casey Fales. She is also survived by her sister: Emma Byrne (the late Frank). She was preceded in death by her siblings: Victoria Shields (the late William), and Frank Trojan Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Avenue, Warrington, Pa 18976 on Wednesday, December 22nd, from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by her Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
