Joan Guzzardo

Joan (Wojcik) Guzzardo of Bensalem passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023, at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 74 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Walter and Anna (Horwath) Wojcik and was a resident of Bensalem for the last 40 years. Joan was working as an Accounts Payable Technician for the Bensalem Twp School District until she passed away, choosing to continue her employment into her seventies despite cancer surgery and chemotherapy treatments. When she was younger, she enjoyed doing crafts, often making gifts for family and friends for special occasions. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping for the perfect card, baking the perfect apple pie and spending time with her family. Joan will be deeply missed by her loving son, Joseph Guzzardo (Jillian). She is also survived by her granddaughter, Fiona Guzzardo and her brother, Walter Wojcik and many other loving family members and friends. Joan was preceded in death by her siblings, Michael Wojcik and Patricia Ann Perkins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, Monday, July 10, 2023, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
