John L. Clifford, Jr. a lifetime resident of Bensalem, died on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Chandler Hall Hospice. He was 69 years old. John was a former Production Supervisor for Rohm and Haas (Bristol) for 34 years. He enjoyed golfing, racing Garvey boats in Barnegat Bay and anything that had to do with boats; he also was a former soccer coach. Survivors include his wife, Virgina “Ginny” A. (nee) Wharton Clifford; two sons, Jonathan L. and Nathaniel Clifford (Erin) and a grandson, Jackson; a sister, Catherine “Cass” Danenberger (Alvin) and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. John was the son-in-law of Helen M. Wharton; and was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Alice (nee) Clemons Clifford, Sr. and his sister Lorraine “Bunny” Rodgers and her husband, Donald. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, Thursday, 9:30-11 A.M., at Cornwells Un. Methodist Church, 2284 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by Services at 11 A.M.
