John A. Coccia

John A. Coccia, Jr of Bensalem passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was 88 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Helen (Volpe) and John A. Coccia, Sr. and was a resident of Bensalem for the past 42 years. John worked as a mail sorter for the US Postal Service for 30 years. He was very artistic and enjoyed carpentry, painting, and gardening in his free time. John was also an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed going to casinos and seafood buffets. He also enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis Presley and the Beatles. John was a proud US Army Veteran. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 45 years, Asuncion M. (Agustin). John is also survived by his 2 loving sons: Kenneth Coccia and Phillip Coccia (Nikita); and 6 grandchildren: Angelo, Ezra, Gabriel, Maria Asuncion, John Joseph and Phillip and many other loving family members and friends. John was preceded in death by his siblings: Stephen Coccia, Mary Ottaviano, Dolly Dilauro, Peter Coccia and Jean Calabrese. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
