John Edward McGinley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Edward McGinley, a beloved son, dedicated professional, and passionate community member, who left us on June 18, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on September 29, 1969, in Bristol, PA, John spent his life in Bensalem, PA, where he built a legacy of love, support, and dedication to those around him.

A devoted employee of the Neshaminy School District, John served as a Supervisor. He was a proud leader as the President of the Neshaminy School District Admin Union, ensuring that the voices of his colleagues were heard and valued. His commitment extended beyond his work as he actively contributed to his community as the Treasurer of the Glen Ashton Farms Civic Association.

John's spirit was as vibrant as his love for sports, and he was an avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams and Penn State University. Whether cheering in the stands or rallying with friends, his enthusiasm for his teams was infectious, bringing a sense of camaraderie and joy to those around him.

John leaves behind a profound legacy through his loving mother, Susan McGinley. He is remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John’s Visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Tuesday, June 30th from 9:00-11:00 AM, followed by his memorial service. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in John’s name to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society.
