John P. Kelly

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John P. Kelly, a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and esteemed member of the community. John, born on January 7, 1933, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, peacefully departed from this world on March 1, 2024, in Naples, Florida, at the age of 91.

John grew up in Philadelphia and later pursued a career in retail sales, becoming a respected manager at Sears and Roebuck. He dedicated many years of service to his profession, leaving a lasting impact on his colleagues and customers alike.

A proud Army veteran, John served his country with honor, enlisting on March 26, 1953, and achieving the rank of Corporal before being discharged on February 14, 1955.

John is survived by his loving children Karen Kelly, Lori Kelly, and Brian Kelly (Serena), as well as his grandchildren, Brian (Megan), Danielle, and Shaun (Kate) and great grandchildren, Miles and Owen.. His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

Funeral services to celebrate John's life will be held at St. Ephrem Church on March 12, 2024, with a public viewing beginning at 10:00 AM and a Mass following at 11:00 AM. Following the church service, John will be laid to rest with military honors at Resurrection Cemetery.
