John M. Rahn

John M. Rahn passed away on October 12th, after a long illness, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 81 years old. John grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Lincoln High School. After graduation, he worked in a machine shop. John also loved his pets, having owned many over the years. In his free time, he was a boating enthusiast, who was a member of the Ran-Del Yacht Club. He attended Westlawn School of Yacht Design, changed occupations, and began working at Trojan Yacht and in marinas as a boat mechanic. He then worked at KYW, before transitioning to a maintenance engineer for Northeastern Hospital. John also loved his pets, having owned many over the years. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years, Barbara (nee Schrader), sisters in law: Janet Ayres, Barbara Schrader, and Ginny Senior, as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation on Monday, October 18th, at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 from 10:00 Am-11:00 AM followed by his Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Tomlinson Funeral Home at the above address in Barbara’s name.
