Joseph A. Cichonski

After a courageous battle with cancer, Joseph A. Cichonski Jr. passed away on May 6, 2024 at the age of 71. Joseph (Joey) was born on September 16,1952 in Philadelphia, PA to father Joseph A. Cichonski, Sr. and mother Louise Cichonski, who predeceased him. He is also preceded in death by his best friend and guide dog Hero.

He was the loving husband of Crystal Cichonski, married for 43 years. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going out to eat with family and friends, and listening KYW Sports. He truly loved being around people and courtesy was his superpower. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three daughters and their husband’s Melissa and Rodney Harrell, Dana and Matthew Glaze, and Amanda and Benjamin Seich; his sister Linda Plueger and husband Barry, brothers Gerald Cichonski and wife Susan, Charles Cichonski and wife Diane, and Robert Cichonski and wife Margaret, his grandkids Seth, Ethan, Eliah, Isiah, Nolan, Hadley, and Nathan, Godson Brian Bennett, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 11 AM. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.

O God, by whose mercy the faithful departed find rest, bless this grave, and send your holy angel to watch over it. Lord, comfort those who mourn and sustain them with the hope of eternal life.
