Joseph Huber

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joseph “Chuck” Huber. Chuck was a dedicated husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, big brother and little brother. He passed away surrounded by his family at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital on Wednesday afternoon following complications post-surgery. He fought as hard as he could, and the doctors and staff of Jefferson gave it 110% every step of the way. We were not there for his birth, but legend has it he was born with a wrench in his hand. He was passionate about anything with wheels, mostly the 4 wheeled variety, and would drop everything at any time to help someone in need. Someone in heaven must have been having car trouble, because as Chuck does, he dropped everything and answered that call Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He didn’t care that it was his birthday, someone needed help and he went. He was a lifelong member of Newportville Fire Company, and Heavy Tow Truck Driver/Operator at Rob’s Automotive. He was the self-proclaimed “Black Sheep” of the family, and if he could find a way to bend rules or break from the norm, that was what he did. Chuck will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of over 40 years, Kathleen “Arletta” Huber, Son Jason Huber (Michelle), and Grand daughter Sophia, Daughter Jessica (Kyle Gracie), Pets Banx and Orlando, Brothers Brian (Bernadette), John (Jean), “Sister” Marlene Conaway (Scott), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, John K. and Josephine A. (Liberatore) Huber. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Tuesday eve from 6 to 8 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 and again Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM, followed by his Service at 11 AM.
