Joseph W. Niland

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph W. Niland Jr., age 66, who peacefully left this world on November 10, 2024. Born on April 4, 1958, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Joseph Sr. and Mary F. Niland,

Joe was a dedicated Supervisor Mechanic for Somerset Knitting Mill and then Comfort Products for over 40 combined years.

Joe brought joy and enthusiasm everywhere he went, whether he was cheering on his favorite teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, showcasing his skills in pinochle and pool, or immersing himself in the world of online gaming. His love for animals, particularly cats, was evident in his kind and gentle nature.

He leaves behind cherished memories to be forever treasured by his surviving relatives: his sisters Kim Niland and Karen Niland, as well as his niece Krista Bilbee (Joe), many cousins, and his best friends of over 50 years, Eddie and Jeannette. Joe's warm spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Funeral Services will be private. His compassion and love for life will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
