It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph F. Perfidio, who left this world peacefully on Friday August 14, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on August 24, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Josephine (Venticinque) and Thomas Perfidio and was a longtime resident of Bensalem. Joseph lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
Joseph served honorably in the Army, reaching the rank of Specialist Third Class before being discharged on June 27, 1957. His commitment did not end there; he continued to serve his community as a proud truck driver with Teamsters Local #470, where he logged over a million miles during his career. His strong work ethic and friendly smile made him a beloved figure among his colleagues.
Outside of work, Joseph was passionate about fishing and was known for his culinary skills, especially his famous lasagna and pepperoni pies that brought joy to many family gatherings. Above all, Joseph cherished his role as a family man.
Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Theresa R. (Sweeney) and his son Michael F. Perfidio. He will be deeply missed by his children: Theresa Friedrich (Thomas), Joseph Perfidio (Gail), Leo Perfidio, and Robert Perfidio (The late Cheryl). He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Tracy Perfidio; His 13 grandchildren—Andrea, Thomas, Jason, Christopher, Julia, Robert, Nicholas, Dominick, Michael, Jessica, Morgan, Robert, and Stefanie—and his four great-grandchildren—Gianna, Colby, Jaxon, and Steven, with two more on the way.
