Joseph L. Rogers

Joseph L. Rogers, Jr of Southampton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. He was 70 years old. Born in Philadelphia on January 11, 1952, to the late Ann (Artur) and Joseph Rogers, Sr. He is survived by his children, Joseph, III and Christina Rogers. Joe was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Rogers. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Joseph, IV and Gianna Rogers; Loving brother of Donna Roger and Joanna McCourt; Husband of Elizabeth (Bojanowski); Stepfather of Amy Sarola, Jackie Stasik and Michael Stasik and Step Grandfather of Jacob and Jordan. He was a graduate of Father Judge High School, Class of 1970. After graduation, Joe worked many years for Shop and Bag in Northeast Philadelphia. After retirement, he worked at Ann’s Choice in Warminster, PA. Joe was a basketball coach for Crispin Gardens, where he enjoyed teaching basketball skills and where he made many lifelong friends. His “happy place” was his condo in North Wildwood, NJ, where he spent many relaxing and fun-filled days. Joe loved all animals, especially dogs. He also enjoyed watching basketball and football on the weekends. His twin grandchildren were his greatest joy in life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 7:30 PM.
