Joseph T. Velek

Joseph T. Velek Jr., of Bensalem, passed away on November 12th. He lost his lifetime battle with mental illness. He was just 31 years old. He graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School. While there he won All Catholic in Track & Field. He had deep religious beliefs in his faith. His passion was fitness and working out. He will be deeply missed by his parents: Maggie and Joseph T. Velek Sr., his sister Carly Christman (Matthew), and many friends and extended family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Wednesday, November 17th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Beechwood Cemetery.
