Kathleen Rooney

Kathleen (Kathy) Rooney passed unexpectedly on Friday November 15, 2024, surrounded by her husband and family. Kathy was born on July 18th, 1967, to Gerry Gorgol and Charles Gorgol. She is one of 5 children. A devoted wife, dog mom, sister, and aunt. Kathy married the love of her life Daniel Rooney on May 23, 1994.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband Daniel Rooney; their fur babies Lexi and Lucy; her parents Gerry Gorgol, Charles Gorgol; her siblings Judy Plona (Joe), Chuck Gorgol, AnnMarie Wons (Michael), Gigi Stewart (Bill).

Kathy loved her nieces and nephews fiercely and is also survived by Joey Plona, Timothy Plona (Jen), Michael Corrado (Mary), Nicholas Gorgol, Marissa Gorgol-Motto (Nick), Julian, Kai, Karley, Jana, and her great nieces and nephews Enzo, Emma Christine, Faith, Rocky, Galvin and Colton.

Kathy was a vibrant individual who lit up the room with her big smile, beautiful loving blue eyes, and laugh that was contagious to everyone around her.

Kathy’s family would like to thank the amazing and compassionate staff at Jefferson Torresdale for their care and support.

She will be greatly missed but her legacy to love fiercely, her kindness and strength will live on in the hearts who loved and knew her.
