Kathleen Rowan

August 10, 1939 — January 8, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathleen M. (McHugh) Rowan, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who left us peacefully on Thursday January 8, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on August 10, 1939, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Mary (Lockhart) and Neal McHugh and was a resident of Bensalem for past 6 years and was formerly of Spring Hill, FL.

Kathleen was a devoted homemaker, whose talents in the kitchen were only rivaled by her passion for creating joyful moments with her family. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, where she embraced life with enthusiasm and brought smiles to those around her. There was nothing she loved more than a good shopping trip, many cruise adventures, and reminiscing about her unforgettable journey to Ireland. Her heart was filled with love for her four grandchildren—

Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 wonderful years, John F. Rowan. She will be deeply missed by her loving children: John Rowan (Sherry) and Kathleen Konzelman (Joseph). Kathleen is also survived by her grandchildren: Nicholas, Shane, Zachary, and Matthew—who brought her immense joy.; and her brother, Jim McHugh (Peggy) and many other loving family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday, January 23, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM.
