Kenneth R. Good

February 28, 1964 — May 7, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth R. Good, a beloved resident of Levittown, PA. Ken was born on February 28, 1964, in Bristol, PA. He peacefully left this world on May 7, 2024.

Ken was a devoted father to his son Kenneth A. Good and cherished by his surviving family, including his siblings Pamela, Charles A. "Albert" (Amy), and Donald (Samantha). He dedicated many years to his career in retail, including a tenure at Builder’s Square and at Walmart where he was given responsibility as a floor manager. He had an unusually strong work ethic, earning the respect of employers and co-workers alike.

In his spare time, Ken found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending quality time with his son and was an active member of Cornwells United Methodist Church. Ken was a passionate supporter of NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers, showcasing his unwavering loyalty to his favorite teams. Additionally, he enjoyed golf and took pride in participating in the Mid-Atlantic Blind Golfers Association.

Ken was known for his “directness” and his honesty. If he knew something ‘wasn’t right’, to the extent he was able, he would work hard to ‘make it right’. This portion of his nature became more well developed as his relationship with God through Christ deepened. Part of his forthrightness included a desire to share some of his life struggles with candor in hopes that others might benefit and be encouraged. Nearly 30 years ago, he decided that the use of alcohol and other ‘substances’ was robbing him of the life he desired to live. 2024 marks the 27th year of his sobriety. He would want everyone to know that addiction can be overcome, first with God’s help and also with the support of others through organizations such as Alcoholics Anonymous and those in his church fellowship. He has been a strong mentoring influence in the lives of others.

Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at Cornwells United Methodist Church, 2284 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020, on May 14, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, and again on the morning of May 15, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by his service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Keneth’s name to the Safe Families for Children Program: Bethany Christian Services.
