Kenneth L. Miraski, Sr

Feb 2, 1952 — Jul 4, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth L. Miraski, Sr., at the age of 74, on Saturday, July 4, 2026. He was born on February 2, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Esther (Brand) and Joseph Miraski. He was formerly of Philadelphia, PA, and Mesa, AZ, and resided in Bucks County.

Ken proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy as an oceanographic technician, a time in his life that shaped his character and instilled in him a deep sense of duty and honor. After his service, he attended Rider University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting. For over 40 years, Ken dedicated his professional life to the accounting field, working with notable companies such as McGraw Hill, Mr. Good Buys, Trans World Express, Arett Sales, and Pretzel Pete. His work ethic and commitment earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Outside of work, Ken was a lifelong Presbyterian and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Springfield (Flourtown, PA), where he served with love and kindness. Ken found joy in photography, coin collecting, and nature. He loved hiking and camping, particularly at Hawk Mountain and in the Poconos, where he found peace and inspiration. An artistic soul in his later years, he had a talent for painting that expressed his love for the world around him. Ken was not only passionate about his hobbies but was also a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. He always enjoyed cheering on his teams with family and friends.

Ken leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter Connie K. Shaffer (Christopher), sons Kenneth L. Miraski, Jr. and Daniel J. Miraski, and his cherished sisters Jeanne Wright, Joanne Feliccia (Nicholas), and Lois Hoffman (Timothy), many nieces and nephews, his many loving dear friends, and his church community. Ken was also preceded in death by his brother, Theodore Miraski (Phyllis), and his beloved dogs Tanya, Mikey, Ronnie, and his grand dog Kayla.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 1 to 2 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 2 PM. Interment will be private.
