On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Inova Fairfax Hospital, surrounded by his wife and children, our Lord gently called Krishan Mitchell Lewis home. A devoted husband, father, son, brother, mentor, and servant of God, Krishan’s earthly journey ended in peace and love.
Born on April 21, 1980, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, to Lois Frances (Thomas) Rosario and Mitchell Lewis, Krishan was full of life from the start—energetic, confident, and charming.
A proud graduate of Bensalem High School’s Class of 1998, Krishan was a gifted student-athlete, devoted friend, and quiet leader. From his earliest days at Bensalem, he stood out—not only for his athletic talent but for the character he brought to everything he did. As a freshman, he earned a starting spot on the varsity basketball team and was named “Most Valuable Athlete,” eventually scoring over 1,000 points in his high school career. Never one to settle, he joined the football team in his junior year, excelling just as quickly and proving himself a force on and off the field. Recognized by peers and mentors alike as a student “Destined for Success,” Krishan immersed himself in school life, inspiring others through his dedication and humility.
His hard work earned him both academic and athletic scholarships to Temple University, where he continued to lead by example. Krishan was the first among his close circle of friends to graduate, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science ahead of schedule. At Temple, he became known not just as a teammate or classmate, but as the heartbeat of his community—a dependable friend, a source of strength, and the unspoken glue of the Philly brotherhood.
It was during his time at Temple that Krishan’s lifelong love story began with Alicia, whom he first met in high school. Their bond grew naturally and deeply, rooted in faith, laughter, and family. Within six months, their family began—the start of a love that would define their lives. He later proposed at home in a moment as heartfelt as it was simple, with Lil’ Krishan proudly handing Alicia the ring.
As a husband, Krishan was patient, calm, and grounded—a steady presence who led his wife by example. He taught the value of simplicity, the importance of living within their means, and how to approach life with humility and gratitude. Their life together was rich in love, laughter, and mutual respect.
Krishan brought those same values into every circle he entered. He was genuine, charismatic, and full of life—always eager to connect with others, meet new people, and deepen relationships. His joy came from people, and those who knew him will forever remember his warmth, his loyalty, and his deep capacity for friendship.
Krishan and Alicia were blessed with four children—Krishan, Kaden, Koen, and Kylah—each carrying his spirit, humor, and heart. To his sons, he was a teacher and role model, instilling discipline, humility, and integrity. To his daughter, he was her protector and hero. Family was Krishan’s greatest pride—his truest calling and his enduring legacy.
Professionally, Krishan built a career defined by leadership, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. With more than 20 years in operations and program management, he earned a reputation as a trusted leader—someone who inspired his teams, served his clients with care, and approached every challenge with calm determination and professionalism.
His career spanned both the government and private sectors, where he led large-scale logistics, fleet operations, and customer service programs. He managed teams of dozens—sometimes hundreds—with a focus on mentorship, accountability, and teamwork. Those who worked with him often spoke of his ability to bring out the best in others, and his sincere care for the people he led.
In 2009, Krishan was inducted into the Bensalem High School Basketball Hall of Fame, a tribute to the legacy of excellence and determination he left behind on the court.
Even in passing, Krishan continued to give. Through the gift of organ donation, he became a hero in the truest sense—donating his heart, liver, and kidneys to multiple individuals in need. He didn’t just save lives—he transformed them. That’s who Krishan was: generous, compassionate, and always giving of himself—even in his final moments.
Krishan’s memory will forever live in the hearts of his beloved wife, Alicia Jean Lewis, and their four children: Krishan, Kaden, Koen, and Kylah; his parents Lois (Victorino) Rosario and Mitchell (Beverly) Lewis; his sister Talitha (John) Hill; his parents-in-law Palmer and Edna Denny; sister-in-law Yvette Redfearn (Jessie); brothers-in-law Brian and Charles Holmes, Victor Gay, Palmer (Tara) and Jason Denny; nieces Olivia LeSure, Lillian Hill, Dymen Phillips, Tiffany Holmes-Charles, Caitlyn and Ember Denny, nephews Aaron, Dorrell and Antoine Phillips, Jalen, Joshua and Justin Redfearn, Palmer, Benjamin and Jackson Denny, aunts, Geraldine Pendleton, Mildred Lewis and Pearline Phillips, uncles Oscar and George Lewis, Michael and Keith (Angie) Denny and a host of extended family and countless friends who were blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Hather Lewis, uncle Edward Lewis, aunt Mary Lewis-Cook, and sister-in-law Ivy Yvonne Phillips.
Krishan’s laughter, love, and light will never fade. His heart still beats—through his children, his family, and those whose lives he touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his life celebration Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10 AM to 1PM at Linconia Tabernacle Christian Center, 2460 Paris Avenue, Trevose, PA 19053, with his memorial service beginning at 10:45 AM. Interment will be private. www.tomlinsonfh.com
