Laura K. Shay

Laura K. Shay of Croydon, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at her residence. She was born on September 19, 1963, in Staten Island, NY, to the late Mary C. Shay and was formerly a resident of Bristol, PA.

Throughout her life, Laura found joy and fulfillment in raising her daughter as a single parent. Animals also held a special place in Laura's heart, and she always made time to love and care for her sweet fur baby, Bitty. She adored her furry grand dog, Lucas, and showered him with love and affection.

As a bartender, with 3 decades of experience, she brought laughter, great conversation, and memorable moments to many of her patrons at various locations. Laura was never one to shy away from a lively debate about politics. She reveled in engaging discussions and had a sharp intellect that allowed her to express her opinions with conviction and grace.

Laura's animals and family were a source of immense joy, and she treasured every moment spent with her daughter Brandy M. Shay. She is also survived by her brother James Shay and sister in law Dixie and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
