Lawrence Gary Sandstrom

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lawrence Gary Sandstrom, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left this world peacefully on January 5, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on May 9, 1943, in Little Fork, Minnesota, to the late Lawrence and Mary M. (nee Saville) Sandstrom, Lawrence lived a life characterized by hard work, dedication, and unwavering love for his family.

A proud resident of Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, Lawrence was a skilled electrician and worked diligently in the construction industry as a self-employed tradesman. His commitment to his craft was matched only by his commitment to his family, who were the center of his life.

Lawrence is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Sandstrom; his daughters, Virginia Russo and her husband Nunzio, and Mary Christine Unger and her husband James, as well as his sister-in-law, Linda Herbert and his beloved cat Snuggles. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In this time of sorrow, may we remember Lawrence for his kindness, his strength, and the joy he brought into our lives. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
