Linda Cooper

July 8, 1947 — November 28, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda (Geist) Cooper, who left this world on Friday November 28, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on July 8, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Gladys L. (McKinley) and John H Geist and was a resident of Bensalem for the past 11 years and was formerly of NE Philadelphia.

Linda began her journey as a dedicated underwriter at Ford Automotive straight out of high school, showing a remarkable work ethic and commitment to her responsibilities at such a young age. However, her greatest joy came when she embraced the role of a homemaker and devoted herself to nurturing her three children—Dawn, Kimberly, and Eric. Her heart had room for everyone, as she later opened her home to run a daycare, treating each child as if they were her very own. The nurturing environment she created was filled with warmth, guidance, and an abundance of love that many will always remember.

As her children grew, she continued to be an unwavering pillar of support. She not only assisted her son Eric with his newspaper route for the Philadelphia Inquirer but eventually took it over, becoming a familiar and reliable face in her community. Her selfless spirit and dedication to family and friends created a legacy of love that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Ernest F. Cooper. She will be deeply missed by her children, Dawn Lacerte (Paul), Kimberly Hecht (Michael), and Eric Cooper (Virginia), as well as her beloved sister Elaine Bradefield (Russel). She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren—Daniel (Julianna), Silke, Tessa, Matthew, Ryan, Dylan, and Ivan—and a great-grandmother to Gabriel. Each of their lives bears the beautiful imprint of her love.

Services and interment will be privately amongst family.

Though she may no longer be with us, Linda’s memory will forever live on in our hearts, reminding us to cherish every moment and love fearlessly. Rest in peace, dear Linda; you will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all. www.tomlinsonfh.com
