Linda J. Pyffer, born on December 11, 1946, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 77, surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of Croydon. Linda was the daughter of the late William G. Heuser and Irma G. (Leister) Heuser-Fullaway and stepdaughter to the late John Fullaway. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and graduated from Morrisville High School & Northeastern School of Nursing.
Linda worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years in hospitals and long-term nursing. She retired from Independence Blue Cross as a Case Manager.
Linda will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 58 years, Henry Pyffer. She will also be deeply missed by her loving children, Annette Marie Nespola (Paul) & Harry V. Pyffer. Proud grandmother to Ryan & Victoria Nespola, The late Margaret “Maggie” Palilonis, and Zachary D. Goodrich. Great Grandmother to Travis & Willard Goodrich. Sister to Dorothy Campbell (The late John), Glenn Fullaway, and the late Jackie, John, Brad, Keith Fullaway. Sister-in-law to The Late Margaret Kornackie (The late Fred), Anna May Naples (The late Jim), The late Jack Dyer (Carol) along with many nieces & nephews.
Linda enjoyed boating with her family during the summer. She and her family were active at Wissinoming YC, Farragut SA, and Harbor Light YC for many years. She was the proud editor of the DRYL Queen’s Pageant Program Book for 18 years. She loved leading the boat club in decorating the boats for the Pageant. She also enjoyed reading and painting.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by mass at 11:00 AM at St. Anselm Parish in Philadelphia. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville, PA. Arrangements by Tomlinson Funeral Home, www.tomlinsonfh.com
