Lorraine Marie Hopkins

Lorraine Marie (Swartz) Hopkins, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the age of 87. Born in Philadelphia to the late Beatrice (Tracey) and George Swartz and was a resident of Bensalem for over 60 years.

Lorraine was a woman of many talents and passions. She possessed a flair for cooking, creating mouthwatering dishes that delighted her family and friends. A lover of nature, she found solace and joy in exploring the great outdoors, often indulging in hiking and camping trips. Lorraine's nimble fingers brought life to fabric as she showcased her unmatched skills as a seamstress extraordinaire.

Above all, Lorraine cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John B. Hopkins, Sr. Lorraine will be deeply missed by her loving children: Karen Hopkins, Linda Brennan (Fred), Barbara Hopkins (Diane), Diane Friend (The late William), and Gail Riley (Thomas). Lorraine's love extended to her eight grandchildren, Tracy (Jon), Megan (Colin), Karly (Steve), Keith, Jessica, Samantha (Fiancé Michael), Madison, and Griffin who brought also immense joy to her life. She took immense pride in her role as a great-grandmother, finding delight in the presence of her seven great-grandchildren. Lorraine was also preceded in death by her children, Kelly Cleary, and John B. Hopkins, Jr and her siblings, Dorothy Steiner and Phyllis Miller. Lorraine's energetic nature and genuine love for her family will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 1:00 PM.
