Lorraine Frances Joyce

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine Frances Joyce, age 75, who peacefully departed this life on April 28, 2026, at her home in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Born on October 2, 1950, in Philadelphia, to the late James Segars and Mary Grosso, Lorraine was a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, a loving sister and aunt, and a cherished friend to many.

Lorraine will be remembered for her warm spirit and her unwavering dedication to her community, serving as a crossing guard for Bensalem Township for over 30 years, where she ensured the safety of countless children and made lasting connections with families. Her compassionate nature and kindheartedness made her a beloved figure in the neighborhood.

Lorraine took great joy in spending time with her family and friends. She leaves behind her daughter, Lorraine Kinniry (Mike), along with her adored grandchildren, Michael Kinniry and Katelyn Kinniry. She is also survived by her loving brother, Gary Segars; her sisters, Debbie Raymond, Donna Micchelli, Denise Farina Pierce, and Linda Sciullo. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and her brothers, James Segars and John Segars.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lorraine’s visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM followed by her memorial service at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at precisely 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lorraine’s memory to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, or to Fox Chase Cancer Center, www.foxchase.org.

Lorraine Frances Joyce will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. In this time of mourning, we invite all who were touched by her spirit to join us in celebrating her life and the joy she brought to the world.
