Madalayne M. Mara

Madalayne "Cookie” (Milanese) Mara passed away on Friday March 8, 2024, at Seaton Springwood, York PA at the age of 76. Madalayne was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Rita (Procaccini) and Albert Milanese, Sr. She was a longtime resident of Bensalem, PA and spent the last 5 years in York, PA.

Madalayne was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School. She worked as an office manager and medical biller for Iama Home Health Care for over 20 years. Madalayne found immense joy in reading, fishing, and reveling in the spirit of Christmas with her beloved family. She was also known for her love for white West Highland Terriers, owning three of them throughout the years. Later in life, she enjoyed watching Harry Potter movies and was a fan of Bob Ross.

Madalayne was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Mara. She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Karen Lucia, her husband Brian and their children Kathryn and Sarah and also Michael Ginnetti, his children Matthew and Allison and their mother, Colleen Ginnetti. Her siblings, Albert Milanese, Jr. (Karen), Louise DiBacco (John) and John Milanese (Rose) and many other loving family members and friends will also incredibly miss her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday March 14, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, and again Friday March 15, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Catholic Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
