It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret A. (Booth) Pizzo, who left us peacefully on Tuesday February 10, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on November 11, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Margaret (Bigley) and John Booth she was a lifelong resident of Bensalem. Margaret was genuinely the most loving and kindest woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves a trail of broken hearts, and she will be missed more than words can express.
Margaret devoted over 35 years to the Bensalem School District as an administrator, impacting countless students and teachers with her kindness and dedication. Outside of her professional life, she found joy in many things: precious time with her family, trips to the casino, years on Bonner’s mountain, cheering for her beloved Philadelphia sports teams and, most importantly, doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy, and she helped raise them with unwavering love, guidance and care.
She had a special way of bringing happiness to everyone around her. She quietly and selflessly put everyone’s needs first. She was the quintessential "Mom-Mom”. Mom-Mom was the heart of our family and a light in the lives of everyone who knew her. To know her was to love her, and to be loved by her was one of life’s greatest gifts.
Her warm gentle spirit and unconditional love made the world a better place. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel seen, welcomed and deeply cared for. Whether through her comforting words, her laughter, her heartfelt conversations, she created a sense of home wherever she went. Family meant everything to her, and she devoted her life to loving and supporting those around her. She took immense pride in attending every one of her children’s games, being their biggest and LOUDEST supporter and source of encouragement. Margaret embodied the spirit of family—she was truly the rock that held everything together. Her gentle soul and loving nature made her a treasured presence in the lives of her loved ones.
Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold J. Pizzo and her adoring son Mark Pizzo. She is survived by her loving devoted children, Peggy Pizzo Karpinski (Joe), Maria Morano (Chris), and Michael Pizzo (Michele), along with her cherished grandchildren: Douglas, Christopher (Katelyn), Marisa (Connor), Morgan (Brendan), Michael Jr. (Cassie), and Matthew (MK). She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Michael III, and Charles. Margaret will also be deeply missed by her loving adoring brother, Michael Booth (Johanna). She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jack Booth, Mary Guidos and Richard Booth.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather from 10 to 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Rite of Committal Resurrection Cemetery. www.tomlinsonfh.com
