Margaret M. Robey

December 30, 1938 — February 15, 2025

Margaret M. (Young) Robey, affectionately known by everyone as “Peggy” went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 15, 2025. She was 86 years old. Peggy was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA by the late Emma and George Young, She then resided with her husband, Harry, in the Andalusia section of Bensalem where they raised their 3 daughters before they moved to Fairless Hills in 2009.

Peggy was a proud graduate of Frankford High School. Her life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and service. A true homemaker at heart, she dedicated herself to creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. Her hands were never still; she enjoyed crocheting and sewing, often making beautiful gifts for her loved ones. Peggy also had a zest for life that shone through in her love of dancing and singing. Throughout her youthful adventures she graced various stages, including television, the USO and radio shows, where she captivated the attention of all who watched and listened.

Traveling the country with her husband, attending many concerts and shows, and embarking on exciting cruises were some of her favorite pastimes. She was usually joined by various members of her beloved family. In her earlier years she hosted large gatherings for holidays and other occasions. Everyone always felt welcomed at her table and were treated like part of the family. In her later years she looked forward to dinners out. By far the highlight of her life was her family and her faith in God. Her heart truly overflowed with love for her parents, husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephew, and her many other dear friends and extended family. They all brought her immeasurable joy. After Peggy became a born-again Christian, she attended and was baptized at Grace Bible Church. She later became a devoted member of Andalusia Baptist Church followed by Oxford Valley Chapel whose fellow members became like family to her. Her strong faith in God guided her life and were obvious through her sweet spirit.

Peggy will be grievously missed by her beloved husband of 65 years, Harry R. Robey, Jr. She will also be greatly missed by her loving daughters, Beth-Anne Donoughe (David), Carol-Anne Waldron (Michael) and Peggy-Anne Repella (Robert); Her 5 grandchildren: Kimberly (Brandon), Timothy (Lyndsey), Robert (Angela), Kyle, and Julie (Zach); 8 great-grandchildren: Andrew, Amelia, Emily, Luke, Oliver, Remington, Anna and Emma; Her nephew, Bobby Young (Joan) and many other loving extended family members, neighbors and friends. Peggy was also preceded in death by her dear brother, Robert Young (Barbara).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday, February 21, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Oxford Valley Chapel, 198 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19056, followed by her service at 10:30 AM.
