Marine Y Sumbler-Mumford

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marine Y. Sumbler-Mumford, who left us peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the age of 61. Born in Augsburg, Germany to the late Queen (McDowell) and Albert L. Sumbler, Sr. Marine made her home in Trevose, Pennsylvania, where she was known for her warm spirit and vibrant personality. She was a graduate of Bensalem High School and later attended Temple University.

Marine was the loving mother of her daughter, Jada Mumford, and a cherished friend to many. Her passion for cooking and baking was evident in every meal she shared, bringing family and friends together around her table. A true adventurer at heart, Marine loved to travel and always looked for new restaurants to explore and enjoy. Her laughter and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Marine was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, often cheering on her teams with unyielding enthusiasm.

Marine was also preceded in death by her brothers, Albert L. Sumbler, Jr and Bradley Sumbler.
