Mark Dezii

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Dezii, a beloved musician, companion, brother, and friend, who left us on January 14, 2026, at the age of 73. Mark was born on May 16, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Margherita (Ferrara) and Randolph Dezii.

He was a talented singer, known for his long-standing involvement in the local music scene along with his friend Jeff (Geoff) Scott and different band members through the years. Mark worked as a solo act for many years working at various nursing homes, veteran homes and had gigs at different establishments. Amanda Cohen was a special friend/singer of Mark’s, they enjoyed singing and reminiscing about so many things they had in common. Joe Stone was a close friend/handyman to Mark and JJ Josi for many years. Many thanks for Mark’s brother Christopher from Mark and JJ Josi.

Mark was also an ardent animal lover, with a special affection for the many cats and dogs he had throughout the years and cherished them as his own children. Mark and JJ also had a love for horses and horse racing contests (Forums), His gentle spirit and kind heart touched those who knew him, leaving a lasting impact on family, friends, and fans alike. Mark is survived by his dedicated companion, JJ Josi Verlingieri, and their 3 cats, Fluffy, JJ and Handsome. He is also survived by his brothers, Christopher Dezii (Karen), Steven Dezii (Melody), Gary Dezii (Rosemary), and Keith Dezii (Susan); His sister-in-law, Bernadette Dezii, who will carry his memory forward. Mark was also preceded in death by his siblings, Randy Dezii and Susan Morelli.
