Mary T. Dougherty

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary T. Dougherty, a beloved aunt, and friend. Mary was born on May 16, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Samuel and Thelma (nee Johanson) Ogborn. She departed this life on September 23, 2025, at the age of 89. 

Mary was a dedicated homemaker who devoted her life to creating a warm and loving environment for her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, her warm smile, and her unwavering support to those she loved. In addition to her role as a homemaker, Mary was a proud member of the Columbia Yacht Club, where she embraced the spirit of community and nurtured lifelong friendships. 

Mary is survived by her loving nephew, John Atkinson, Edward Atkinson, James Atkinson, Niece Debra Kaplan, and her sister-in-law Beverly Atkinson who, along with many others whose lives she touched, will carry her memory in their hearts. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Dougherty, and her brother, Joseph T. Ogborn. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Monday, September 29th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by her service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Mary not only for the time we shared but also for the love and joy she brought to our lives. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
