Mary Estes

Mary Estes of Bensalem, PA, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on September 19, 2024, at the age of 78. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Wheeler on July 26, 1946, Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Niece, Cousin and friend to many.

Mary worked as a devoted manager for Catherine's Restaurant. Her dedication and hard work were evident to all who knew her. She cherished her time spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mary's love, kindness, and generosity will forever be remembered by those she touched throughout her life.

She is survived by her children Deborah McDonnell (Robert), June Cunane (Edward), and Jerry Estes Jr. (Nicole), grandchildren, Angel Spector, Brittany Petrone, Marylynn Stack, Jeremy Estes, Nikolaus Wachtler, Shaina Estes, Alexis McDonnell, Justin McDonnell, Paige McDonnell, and Matthew Cunane, and great-grandchildren, Brianna Petrone, Joshua Berberich, Caiden Spector, Dylan Petrone, and Gianna Petrone, who brought immense joy into her life. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerome F. Estes Sr. in 2013.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Tuesday, September 24th from 6:00-8:00 PM. A second viewing will be held at St. Anselm Church, 12670 Dunksferry Road, Philadelphia, Pa 19154 on Wednesday, September 25th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by her Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.

Mary's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. May she rest in peace.
