Mary F. Mccarthy

Mary F. “Mae” McCarthy (Braim), age 82 of Newtown passed away Tuesday November 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Phila., and a resident of Newtown for the past 26 years. Mae was a graduate of the two- year vocational program at St. Boniface Business School. She was employed as an Auditor with the IRS and retired in 1980 after 10 years of service. Mae also worked for Lenox for 10 years. Beloved wife of John J. “Jack” McCarthy of 63 years. Devoted mother of Donna McCarthy (Joe O’Malley) and Colleen McCarthy. Sister of Joseph Braim (the late Joanne), Joan Smith (John), Patricia Yusavage (Ron), Rosemarie Cappo (William) and John Braim (Diane). Gama of 3 grandchildren; Patrick, Bridget, and Courtney (Bruce). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thursday 10:00 am at St. Andrews R. C. Church, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA 18940, followed by her funeral Mass Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment private. Arrangements by the Tomlinson Funeral Home, Bensalem.
