Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Rossman

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth “Betsy” Rossman, who left us peacefully on Wednesday February 11, 2026. Born on January 9, 1957, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Rita (Waters) and Harry Thron. She was a resident of Philadelphia and was formerly of Bensalem and Willingboro. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she leaves behind precious memories that will forever warm our hearts. 

Betsy was proud of her role as a collector in the financial industry, contributing her skills and passion to her work at Alliance One. Her dedication and resilience shone brightly in everything she did. 

Betsy was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Rossman. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jennifer Stevenson (Richard, Jr), and her cherished grandson, Richard Brody Stevenson. She also leaves behind her brother, Harry Thron, along with her treasured nieces and nephews: Tyler and Alyssa Thron, Wendy Hulme (James), and Jami Evans (Roy). Betsy was surrounded by love from her extended family, including Donna Wheeler and Richard Stevenson, Sr., whose support carried her through so much. Betsy was also preceded in death by her siblings, Rita M Ohler (Melvin) and Terry Reynolds (Dennis), and her best friend, Cheryl Stevenson. 

A compassionate soul with a warm spirit, Betsy brought joy to everyone around her. Her laughter was infectious, and her kindness knew no bounds. She had a unique ability to make those around her feel cherished and understood. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her light will continue to shine in our lives.
