Mary Elizabeth Taylor

Mary Elizabeth (Christopher) Taylor passed away peacefully on Thursday June 5, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on July 9, 1937, in Paterson, New Jersey to the late Mildred (Dooren) and Irving Murray Christopher. Mary was a graduate of Barnegat High School and was a resident of Yardley for the past 4 years. Mary lived a full and vibrant life, making countless cherished memories along the way.

As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Mary was always there offering support, wisdom, and a warm and loving home for her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Thomas C Taylor; her daughter, Kathy Taylor Gurevitch (John); granddaughter, Amy Gurevitch; and grandson, Thomas Gurevitch (Jamie) and her three great-grandsons, Michael, Taylor and Leighton. Each of them will carry a piece of her spirit in their hearts.

Mary had a passion for reading, a love for golf and spending time with her family at the beach. Traveling was another great joy, especially cruising with Tom. She found excitement playing the slots in Atlantic City and enjoyed many beautiful winters in Ormond Beach, Florida and summers on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. However, her greatest joy came from the time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose laughter and love meant the world to her.
